Unit View

The unit view can be filtered based on clinical priorities like Sepsis, Ventilation, or NEWS score. This unit view of a 15-bed ICU shows four patients identified by the hospitals' preset thresholds who require attention for possible Sepsis or Ventilation issues. Patient tiles or beds requiring intervention are highlighted in red and displayed along the top based on the criteria established by the hospital. Clicking on any of the beds will take you to a detailed patient view.

Facility View

The facility view displays patients who meet preset thresholds and criteria. The clinician can adjust the threshold for the early warning score alerts based on the patient population. This enterprise view shows multiple patients who have screened positive with a national early warning score value of 4+.

Digitized Protocols

The true power of AirStrip Insight is the digitized peer-reviewed protocols and bundles of care that can be selected and configured for each unit across the hospital including Emergency, Intensive Care, Maternity and Rapid Response.

How are WE different from other HCIT tools?

Sepsis

When a patient is confirmed with Sepsis, a checklist or tasklist can be displayed showing the status of various actions to be performed. Color coding indicates completed or outstanding tasks, documentation, or activities.

Acute Kidney Injury

The Acute Kidney Injury bundle turns yellow indicating possible issues with the patient’s current medications and status of kidney function. The sudden rise in the creatinine value triggers an early intervention alert to the care team for a medication review.

Rapid Response

The Facility View helps clinicians visualize critical patients throughout the hospital system on the basis of the Early Warning Score (EWS). The clinician can adjust the threshold for the EWS alerts based on their patient population.

Pressure Reactivity Index

Developing a PRx graph is a manual process. A clinician must manually extract data from the EHR and plot the graph. AirStrip Insight does this in near real-time.

Medication Overlay

Selecting a clinical value or vital from the Patient View shows the vital signs and trends over the past 24 hours, plus a list of active medications. Clicking on one or more medications will plot the administration time of the medication vs. the vital signs trend.
