What This Privacy Policy Covers

This policy covers how AIRSTRIP TECHNOLOGIES, INC., ("we" or "us") treats personal information that we collect and receive during the normal course of business. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, business association or phone number. This policy applies to AirStrip Technologies, its employees, contractors and affiliates. It does not apply to the practices of business associates we may have contractual relationships with where privacy policies are defined by specific contract. While the software applications we develop handle electronic protected health information “ePHI”, AirStrip products do not store or copy ePHI for AirStrip use or to be stored on AirStrip servers. AirStrip receives and manages this information as a Business Associate as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, as amended, inside the network environment of the Enterprise Customers we serve.

This policy encompasses the information we obtain from this website and from business operations but may not be applicable if you have a contractual relationship with the Company, where the privacy clauses of the contract will supersede this policy.

Information Collection and Use

We collect personal information about you when you transmit such information to us or download materials from our website or contact us via email or social media. We may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies in the normal course of business. We may use information for the following general purposes: to customize the content you see, fulfill your requests for services, provide demonstrations of software or as sales contacts, or to respond to a job application or inquiry you may independently make. We may also use the information to improve our services or contact you. We may use the information for research or after de-identification to provide anonymous access reportng and market research. If we have received your information in connection with a job application or inquiry, you may provide us with information about yourself, such as a resume or job application which we will review and share internally. We may use this informaton throughout our organization and its related entities for the purpose of employment consideration, and except if you instruct us otherwise, we will keep such information for future consideration. We automatically receive and record source information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP Address and the page you request.

Cookies

This website may use “cookies” for the purpose of facilitating the gathering of non-specific user information. A cookie is a very small text file stored on a web site user’s hard disk that allows a web server to recall certain information that the user has already entered previously. If you wish not to utilize cookie technology, this feature may be disabled within your web browser.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We have not, and do not rent, sell, or share personal informaton about you with other people that are not affiliated with AirStrip unless it is to provide services you've requested. We will share your information under the following circumstances: we respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; we believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activites; violations of our Terms and Conditons, or as otherwise required by law.

Confidentiality and Security

We will limit access to personal information about you to AirStrip employees whom we believe reasonably need to have that information to provide services to you or in order to perform their job functions. Should AirStrip be acquired or merge with another business entity, we may transfer information about you if we are acquired by or merged with another company.

Right to Request Deletion and Return of Information

You have the right to (1) inquire about what information we have about you and (2) request that we delete the information we have about you. Should you want to make such a request, please send an email to privacy@airstrip.com outlining the request. We may request that you verify your identity in order for us to respond to your request. Should you request to have your information disclosed to you or deleted, we will confirm to you that we have followed your instructions and we will not discriminate against you in any way for the exercise of your rights to request the content, return, or deletion of your information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may modify this policy in accordance with regulatory requirements or our business practices at any time changes are needed. We will post a revised policy here on this site to notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information.
