Honoring Frontline Healthcare Heroes

In the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic (as of 4/8/21), more than 3,600 US healthcare workers and heroes lost their lives.  It seems that we are not actively reporting these numbers anymore. It is estimated that close to 4,500 healthcare workers lost their lives by this date which parallels the tragic events of 9/11 where 2,996 lives were lost.

We need to always honor these remarkable men and women every day of this war against COVID-19. They came from all walks of life and joined together as ONE to use their healing wisdom to care for others in need, risking their own lives when called to action.

- AIRSTRIP ONE COMMEMORATIVE BRACELET -

They are enduring unprecedented clinical staff shortages and continuous patient surges. They are watching as their patients and colleagues fall, but continue to treat, comfort, and study data to increase their knowledge while also educating the rest of us on ways to prevent getting sick. They are also collaborating with innovators, like AirStrip, and teaching us the lessons from the front lines that translate into the development of advanced surveillance tools, virtual acute care services and therapies, which are expected to transform patient care for decades to come. Pandemics are a once-in-a-century health crisis. This battle is different and will be won with the "Power of ONE."

To honor these every-day heroes, we have created a bracelet. We encourage our employees at AirStrip and healthcare provider partners to wear it as a symbol of remembrance… of gratitude… of hope and as an emblem of unity. For each life lost, for every survivor – our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are ONE and will always remember you.

The Culture of Customer Satisfaction

Recent trends in the business literature show a significant focus on the mechanics of the culture of organizations. Annual training reinforcing the quality and compliance requirements of organizations is a common end-of-year task. To provide some context for the training, it is important to look at the synergy between the cultures of compliance and quality, and how that synergy supports customer satisfaction.

Leveraging Customer Feedback to Drive Successful HIT Partnerships

Customer feedback is a critical piece of any commercial relationship, and its impact in health IT can be particularly valuable – but timing is everything. For other industries, feedback customer feedback surveys and Likert scales at the end of a project may be effective means of measuring satisfaction. In healthcare, this type of qualitative feedback is often too little too late.
