JF Lancelot is a strategist, informaticist, and technology expert with more than 30 years of experience in the health care information technology field where he has spent his entire career. Mr. Lancelot has built numerous successful systems and components such as real-time clinical databases and distributed data acquisition networks. Notably, he has led multiple teams of engineers through the implementation of a highly scalable, high performance clinical information system in use today at large hospitals throughout the U.S. and Europe.
Today, Mr. Lancelot has four main area of interest: healthcare-oriented system architectures, smart automation-enhanced clinical workflows, “last mile” delivery of the right information at the right time to those who need it in order to optimize clinical decision making, and hard core IT issues such as reliability, fault tolerance, security, performance and scalability.
A member of the AirStrip leadership team since 2013, Mr. Lancelot graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BS in Cognitive Science with emphasis on Computation, attended the Necker Medical School in Paris, France and holds a Baccalaureate in Science (Mathematics and Physics) from the Lycee Buffon, Paris, France. Mr. Lancelot is also an advisor to UC San Diego Extension in the area of healthcare information technology.
